Lori: So...here's my big conundrum regarding karma. I have quite a bit of information that is very negative; karma of a beheading, karma of Korea and issues of that nature. I don't feel like there's any gain from sharing that information as opposed to something like GMO’s, which is clearly something still causing many health problems and it's a problem we can change. So, I'm wondering from a karmic standpoint, I don’t want to gain fame for myself based on something so negative. I don't care how many followers I have on Twitter. But, if we don't look at the root cause of our problems clearly we are destined to repeat them.
Hilarion: Indeed. This is good intuition because what would of course happen, because what fame is about is attraction of others to you and the kind of people that would be attracted to you would be those who would have such a negative characteristic, “tell us the next gloom and doom,” etc. The fear and such an energy, this is a type of self-fulfilling prophecy.
So, you might imagine asking this question of Nostradamus, who then took his words and hid them. Putting them in verse, putting them in the quatrains, putting them in various ways in which people as they would investigate this might uncover this. In his time, some of the things that you would perceive as negative were not seen so. So, creating them was easy. He could see how they would affect the lives of people so many years in the future and ways in which all of this could be connected to something they could see; the lives of the various popes. So you see this as a possible solution. It is not a great solution because you are obviously creating a mystery when no mystery is present. But, it does allow you an opportunity to rethink this.
You are quite correct when you're looking at all of the issues of sharing information that go beyond the physical and yet if you keep holding that question you will find a great deal of help arrives for this. For instance, if you ask then knowing this, what could I do to improve the situation? This isn't necessarily to avert the prophecy as you saw it, unless that would be for the highest possible good. But, it could be for the way in which other people’s suffering might have some benefit from it or learn from it. Those can be the activities that you then make a prognostication about or suggestions towards that or encourage or as is often the simplest; ask questions; deep penetrating questions so that others in discovering the answers will then know the right thing to do.
You see examples of this of course, in the work that we have already brought into the world. Where we would do such things as encouraging people to form community, knowing that the very difficult economic times that have been on your planet for a few years now and seem to just keep getting worse and worse will have their solutions in the ways in which communities, people interacting and learning from each other, can support, take care of each other and help each other survive. So, did we need to make a prediction that this terrible dire circumstance would occur or that one, or encourage people to look at the solutions? You might say that sometimes this is the weaker because people may not pay so much attention but they will be frequently then shown this from many other ways, other sources and will again recall some of that which was planted in the unconscious only to blossom forth again.
This is one possible solution. It also has the benefit as it teaches you, it makes you learn, it helps you grow in your capacity as a leader, as someone who acts to assist others and to do more than to speak of the matter, share the information, share the intuition or make the prediction. Those who have gone very far out with some of their negative predictions and found that they were indeed quite successful, accurate and so on have drawn to them all kinds of people with a great deal of fear and difficulty.
Typically, they find that suddenly their predictions are wrong and this is often to save them, to help them so that indeed that path that they went down that was so difficult, bringing such negativity into their lives could stop. This is a hard way to be and often involves quite a bit of emotion as there can be quite a bit of shame or difficulty with what you predicted didn't come forth and so on. Sometimes, it is the only path available when someone has sufficient karma to be able to withstand such criticism and difficulty.
Beyond that, it is a difficult matter for one other reason: the intuition of the future is there for everyone. You're attuning to it a little bit more, to bring it into consciousness, to help people perhaps understand it better but they are receiving it, too. They may not receive it as consciously and powerfully. It's not as if though this is in any way shielded. It is simply the available energy of the universe. As people tune into it and tap into it into their different ways they work with it in all different contexts and all different methods.
But, what that means is those energies will be recognized. People will have a sense of familiarity, they will be aware of this so if you having a clearer awareness of what is possible of these energies of the future and so on can be more helpful as a leader, as a guide, as someone to show them what to do in working with this, they are inspired. As their ideas begin to come in a little stronger, a little more well-shaped they will not be made afraid of them. They will instead have an action, they will take a step forward, they will do something that will be valuable and useful. In other words, you have acted as a sort of example, a wayshower as to what to do as these energies show up. You can see this is happening more and more.
As these energies on your planet and the vibrations increase, people become more and more aware of their possible futures, of these ways in which things can befall the planet, or other people can be involved, be they negative or positive, what are they to do with them? So, it's your personal issue, but as you solve it, the greater important energy is what others can learn from that experience.

Would you please comment on the idea of parallel lives?
Hilarion: From a higher point of view, a view not available to man's conscious mind on the earth plane, there is a sense in which all of time is but a single instant in the mind of God. Hence, according to this notion, all of the past, present and future can be looked upon as simultaneous. It is from this concept that the idea of parallel lives of the same soul derives. There are certain psychic sources, however, who use the notion to try to confuse the seeker with regard to karma and the necessity of meeting the self through the burdens which karma places upon each life.
The dark forces do not wish man to understand the full implications of the karmic law, for then individuals would be less inclined to act under the promptings of the dark forces. But, if a person does not grasp that what he sows he must reap, then he can be lulled into thinking that no consequence will follow from actions undertaken to harm another, so long as the perpetrator is not caught.
But the cosmic law of karma is always just and never fails. Each karmic debt is paid always to the last farthing. No karma ever merely disappears, although in special cases of service and dedication by some individuals, their karmic burden is assumed by other entities as a form of reward for their efforts.
The law of karma is, when viewed from the standpoint of earth-based consciousness, at odds with the notion of the simultaneity of all moments of time. Likewise ,the idea of parallel lives does not allow for a good understanding of karma. While the solution to the riddle is quite apparent to the higher form of perception which is available on the plane from which this dictation is originating, such is not true from the level of earth consciousness. For man in incarnation, the closest conception to the real truth is that which considers lives to be in an ordered sequence, with the gradual build up of traits and characteristics and the accumulation of karma which is then set aside or "met," in subsequent phases of earth experience.
Viewed from the earth level, it is extremely rare for a single soul to live in and animate two different physical bodies at the same time. This occurs only in certain instances of identical twins, where the sameness of the physical bodies allows the soul to oscillate its attention back and forth between the twins at a high rate of vibration.

Q. We have been told that guidance and helpers that rescue the earth and
creatures from nuclear annihilation by interfering with human intent, do
harm. Is it possible that during this Japanese crisis with nuclear plants that
this dangerous radiation menace may be eased by universal assistance in
power? If so, will the happening of changing of the danger be recognized as
beyond human possibility and be seen as miraculous?
Hilarion: it is so in the way in which consciousness shifts. But in the way in
which that is helpful, would it be most desirable? This is the difficult issue
karmically. For sufficient energy to be concentrated to affect a miracle in this
sense, the opportunity for people to stop this harm to the earth with further
construction with nuclear reactors and the opportunity to shut them down
even, would this be put forward or back by such a miracle? This is a difficult
question and that which is constantly debated about every opportunity to
provide the shifting for consciousness for everyone on your planet. And this
is what ultimately comes from this that there is a potential here for greater
dependence on the guides and helpers, greater levels of interference. This
often is the deciding factor that these things then are usually not done and
rather humanity reaping its own consequences of its actions so that these
changes, this understanding and ultimately this evolution will take place.
Now, nuclear radiation itself is not always a bad thing, you know. There are
times in which it is that which creates great acceleration by enhancing
mutation. More cells to mutate often give opportunities within those who are
healthy enough to throw off nuclear radiation, to enhance their evolution and
particularly that their progeny and the generations that come after them
have more opportunities for newer evolution, greater brain capacity perhaps
or the ability to fight off injury or infection or various other things.
Still, this is not a justification for large levels of harm and difficulty to many. It
is hoped that the greatest love and assistance of humanity for other people
will now extend, will be that which is as strong and clear as possible for all of
those who are harmed by this. This will be the greater evolution, the
opportunity for more love, for more assistance, for more caring for each
other. Would this be seen as a miracle? Not perhaps in the sense that you
mean it but clearly it would be. For people to come to each others' aid, to
love and assist each other, to care for each other in ways that have not been
previously possible. This is the great opportunity brought forth by this
difficulty.

Lori: I really suck at historical dates. Hold on. I have to look it up on Wikipedia.
Hilarion: 1600-through 1750?
Lori: Yes. Wasn’t it a resurgence in individual creative expression, similar to what is happening today?
(What I'm thinking here is that there was this creative surge in certain parts of the world while there was a surge in violence in other parts of the world. So basically how a person uses this energy is often based on the society a person is born into (social conditioning, unless a person consciously questions the society he/she is born into). This personifies my very favorite quote from the Seth Material, "illness and suffering are the results of the misdirection of creative energy."
Hilarion:
There are different terms from this, from different cultures and we
wanted to focus on this. But yes, you had two lifetimes in that period.
Opportunities to interact with people in two very different cultures. A
wave of energy swept through the world at that time and in the Orient
such energies had a profound effect on artists and scientists and many
others but a great deal of this was suppressed. It was a time of great
war and struggle and this was created very deliberately to distract from
this awakening energy.
In the west, in particular Europe, there were many energies
of an outpouring and you had opportunity to be a part of both. In
the west you at first began with an interest in the written word. Various ways in which this was being transformed right before your eyes,
with the utilization of the printing press and many other technologies
to transfer suddenly became important to communicate and yet this led
you to many other aspects in art and you watched this with great
fascination.
To some extent you had an involvement, but for the
most part you had a chance to apprentice and to be around others and to
travel in different countries and learn about this in different ways.
In the Orient you were able to be a part of this in order to understand
it energetically, to feel the changes more than to actually
participate. As warring factions inevitably engaged your interest you
were cut down in your 20s. But, the feeling of the energy, the sense of
it, you were aware that there were as if two societies going on at that
time. An energy having to do with the outer, but something else happening
inner, stronger than ever before.
As if a great push to make
scientific discoveries and to understand the nature of human beings. To
work more consciously with what people’s inner motivations were all
about. This was your beginning understanding of psychology. Although the
true flowering of psychology did not occur until the early part of the
20th century. It was still that which had its birth in much earlier
incarnations for most people.
To understand what people were
really feeling, what was their true motivation, what was really
happening. Up until that time much was attributed to Confucius, so many
ways in that society that people would refer to this because it was useful
in providing peace or deeper understanding of what should be.
But
in reality, for instance if you contrast Freud and Confucius you see a
tremendous differences. The underlying motivation associated with something the person
is not consciously aware of and this is acknowledged and utilized in
western society rather than repressed and sought to be deliberately
changed in eastern society in Confucian times. As all of those energies
began to shift you had an appreciation for this that came from being
around others and watching them with their discoveries, with their
newfound ways and what you kept seeing over and over was how some of
that was transferred into war, into the development of improved steel,
or various traps or psychology of war. This disturbed you, but at the
same time you were too young to do much about it.
As a result of
this karmically you see the unflowering of this now in a much deeper
understanding of karma that you have as a result of your work with your
play and other things. Could by a deeper understating of what is really
going on, could war be avoided? Could people find a sense of peace
within themselves that could be transferred to others? This is a
powerful question that has been taken up by many. There is no easy
answer to it but you are pursuing an understanding in this not just from
what you are seeing from this life but from these times in these ancient
periods as well.
Lori: Where in the Orient was I living?
Hilarion: In China.
Lori: Can you tell me what I was doing in Europe?
Hilarion: There
was much opportunity to apprentice, to be around others, some time
spent in Italy, some travel to Greece, some movement eventually to
Spain; witnessing and watching developments in architecture and in
painting, sculpture, all of these crossing over. But, there was this
abiding interest in the written word. Some way in which this could
somehow be known more fully or understood in ways that could not
previously have been available.
That was perhaps the initial draw
to go to these places, to meet people, to learn things and so on. During the
process you began to witness the opportunity for the written word to be
spread very quickly. You were surprised when you would see writings even
translated from one language into another and these popping up in places you
had not even expected. It was as if you were recognizing something
people have never seen before. A sort of common bond through language,
culture, discovery, and interest. This, though, initially of course, with
religious writings began to be expanded into many other areas that you
saw great potential for the future. It was as if you could see an
inspiration here in the written word for the first time in all of your
lifetimes.
Lori: So was my lifetime in the Orient before, and the one in Europe afterward?
Hilarion:
Yes that would be fairly close, though again, that is why we always
begin by asking about time period. There isn’t as if to say an exact
time for beginning or end for either of these. But, early phase versus
later phase, yes.
