Hilarion: you have had a variety of situations where you had an opportunity to step in, make a difference, do something that might change things for the better and for whatever reason chose not to. Afterward, the intense energy of self-deprecation, regret and a variety of other things formed a sort of habit pattern that has held over through many lifetimes.
One of the more difficult of these experiences was one in which there was not a good understanding of emotion. This was much more prevalent in the Dark Ages on earth. The Middle Ages period in which emotions were sometimes seen simply as, "the work of the devil," various ways in which others around you were able to influence you during these times certainly has played an important role in the development of these energies.
One of the more important of these lifetimes was one in which you acted as a helper to someone who eventually became a knight. In this way, acting in various ways you often had the opportunity to advise him, making suggestions, doing things behind the scenes, etc. In doing so and at times getting yourself into these situations there was a great deal of difficulty. Oftentimes, recognizing that you had the answer, though you had no direct power yourself, you could simply by a few words have significant influence. Now, in this life as you have recognized far greater freedom, more opportunity and so on, you have allowed a sense of this energy more strongly for yourself than you have in the last five lifetimes.
Lori: I’m wondering if I know this person, the knight, in my present life?
Hilarion: No. You have not crossed paths with this individual yet.
Lori: But, I might in the future? Is this person incarnated?
Hilarion: highly likely. Yes, incarnated and yes, highly likely you will meet. It will be hard for your guides and helpers to keep you apart. (the movie The Adjustment Bureau illustrates this concept)
